Greenport Rotary’s 2026 Field of Honor will occur through this summer and fall in Mitchell Park when 150 flags are on display Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day. Each flag tells a brief story of someone special, providing a tangible tribute to their service, whether it be to family, community or nation. And just as importantly, the 150 Stars and Stripes that stand in formation on each of those patriotic occasions serve not only as individual tributes to some very special people, but also to affirm our pride in this country as we stand together to celebrate its 250th anniversary.
